| The reason I ask for a non refundable deposit is
so that I know that the buyer (you) are very serious. We also start the vetting process when the deposit is received. This includes Shots, Feline leukemia and Aids testing, neutering or spaying the cat and obtaining a health certificate from a DVM. I also fill out and pay for the form to start the registration process with an accredited cat association. I set up appointments with the vet and take the cat back an forth to get the cat ready to go to their new home. When the buyer backs out at the last moment I am still responsible for the fees to my vet. |
